The day started off super grey, and foggy, and cold. I was sad for our session....super cloudy, dingy, no vibrant light. Driving up to the Biltmore I just hoped for the best. By the time the afternoon rolled around, it ended up being an AMAZING Carolina day and the most perfect Blue Ridge sky with temperatures that made me take my coat off. I had a ton of fun playing on the grounds of the Biltmore with Nikki and Baylen. These two make me smile, in a major way. Nikki is sweet and Baylen is even sweeter. That is why they are just so great together...and photogenic to boot! The light was kind to us and it was a day where I remembered that I have the best job in the world...capturing two people in love, just being themselves, in an amazing setting. Yup, that sums it up:) Have a fantastic weekend everyone!

Love these two! It was awfully cold on the day of our shoot, but that just made the snuggles so much better:) I have known April and Cody since middle and high school, and I could not be more thrilled that they have found each other. Truly, I love everything about them as a couple! April deserves Cody as much as Cody deserves April...and that is such a beautiful thing. And speaking of love...Happy Valentine's Day! We had an amazing workshop this past weekend! Thanks to everyone who came out and learned more about how to take fabulous photos! Boy was it cold when we were outside practicing with our model, but it was definitely worth it. I was so impressed by this group! If you want to be added to the mailing list to know about future workshops, shoot me an email through my contact section and just put workshop as the subject. I am already trying to find a date to host another. We really love teaching this stuff!

Here is just a quick preview of some things hitting the blog this week...not to mention that I am still blogging mini-sessions. Oh, and a pic of Sharpe. This was taken when he was a month old...I am already about to take the two month photo with Darby(a little late on the uptake I know)! Her hair is starting to turn a corner. Thank goodness! Sharpe has really starting smiling since this photo was taken, he looks so serious here! Happy Viewing...

I cannot wait to shoot this couples wedding! Meagan is the sister of a past groom, and I always love shooting another wedding in the same family. Joe and I already feel like we know everyone and it is so much fun! It is also an honor to be asked...I love my wedding couples!

These two made a special trip to Charlotte for their engagement session only to find rain. and more rain. After much debate we just decided to go for it. It was pouring even on the way to the session location, but it did clear up just long enough for us to shoot these photos. Meagan and Eric- thanks for being such flexible folks! I am so glad we go to take these photos. Love to you both!!! and I can't wait for July 7th! Goldsboro will never be the same:)
