Hello there! We are busy little bee's in June wedding season over here, but I am still wanting to get LOTS of sessions from the fall up on the blog and I am absolutely determined to do so! Here are some of my favorites from April's bridal portrait session. I loved working with April and Cody on their wedding and I loved our bridal session together. We shot these at Vanlandingham estates and it was an AMAZING choice, especially in the fall. I love going there and look forward to shooting a fall wedding there this year! Sarah and Danny are so sweet! I can't wait to shoot their wedding this fall! When I got their inquiry I was just SO sure I wouldn't have the date for this coming year, but when they said late November I was so thankful! They are so perfect for each other:) We shot their engagement photos a few weeks ago, yes, in those fields that were absolutely to die for...right before all the blooms were done! Their sweet baby girl puppy, Belle, joined us for some fun, too:) Enjoy! Happy Monday!

These two! Together since high school....they made it! Katelyn and Braiden are two of the most generous, sweet and kind people that I have ever met. And I'm totally not just saying that! Truly, it was easy to tell in our working together, and even easier to see on their wedding day when so many people surrounded them to celebrate who they are and the love they share. I am proud to have couples like them as clients! The wedding was hosted at Katelyn's family home, and my oh my was it gorgeous. For starters, it could have easily been a 90 degree day this time of year, but nope, a perfect temp for their outdoor ceremony and tent reception. The band kept the party going and super fun friends and family danced the night away. We also shot a fusion video of their wedding day and I can't wait to share it when its out of editing. I can't wait to post Katelyn and Braiden's wedding photos! They are such an amazing couple and their wedding day was just gorgeous. Here are some of my favorites from Katelyn's bridals. We took these at her family home, and also at her grandparent's home. This family has a SERIOUS green thumb! Joe and I were in awe of the beauty of their property. Perfect grass, amazing plantings and walls....they make most wedding venues look bad!:) Enjoy just some of these favorites!

Every year there are one or two wedding dates that prove the be the most coveted dates of the year. May 18th of this year was definitely one of those dates! I am SO glad that Ashley booked early and that we were able to work with Ashley and Ben. You see, Ashley knows lots about weddings...She is the wedding coordinator at Childress Vineyards. We love shooting weddings at Childress and I was so incredibly honored that she would choose us as her wedding photographer!

The weather on the wedding day had a rocky start, threatening rain the whole day and even some actual rain right before her ceremony was set to start. Everyone decided to brave the weather and boy are we glad they did! Their ceremony was absolutely perfect and the rain held off long enough for us to get some amazing shots of the wedding party and bride and groom portraits after the ceremony was over. I actually love the mood the cloudy day set for the photos! These two were bundles of nerves before they saw each other, but you could see both of them just settle into their own skin once they were in each other's presence. We love witnessing such moments between two people in love! I also absolutely loved the girls dresses, in matching hues but different styles.
