It's been a while since I have photographer this amazing family. You will remember Katie (the gorgeous pregnant lady and now an even more gorgeous mom) and then there was sweet, four day old Elliot. How the time flies! Can we talk for five seconds about how Katie can literally pull off ANY hairstyle? Love this look! Elliot is such a fun age- and Mat and Katie are phenominal parents. Who would know it was February from looking at these photos! Emily and Eddie lucked out with some amazing weather and we had such a fantastic engagement session. I had a lot of favorites because they were just so darn cute together! And Emily, she tried to say she wasn't photogenic, but I disagree. strongly. These two have a comfortableness(is that a word?) that is tangible in these photos. They made my job easy...real easy. Have a wonderful President's Day!

Our day after session started bright and early. Poor Bae, she had gotten up at 4 am two days in a row! We wanted to get first light, so a girl has to do what a girls has to do-hair and makeup don't do themselves! We spent the morning with our awesome driver and makeup artist going around to many different locations. It was so great to have both of them there. Bonin(?), the makeup and hair guru set Bae up on a bench in the middle of the sunflower field and started dolling her all up. I just loved that scene, and that it was what we were doing at that exact moment. And I loved how Bonin would give Bae artistic direction in Thai, so I never understood what he was saying- but I am pretty sure he was helping to make my vision become complete:) There was no way to narrow the day after session down, so here is the morning part of our Day After session.
