Anna and CJ had a Beautiful day for their early March wedding!  They chose to have a morning ceremony, and I have to say I love the pace it set for the day.  Their wedding was in downtown Charlotte and their ceremony at The Duke Mansion.  Ya'll all know I am SUCH a sucker for this venue! It is really unlike anything else around Charlotte and we love shooting there any chance we can.  Their wedding day was especially beautiful at the Mansion as guests were able to walk the grounds and garden, enjoying a such a great spring day.  Music flowed throughout the mansion and  The Phase Band  provided amazing entertainment- keeping the party going and were a blast.  Anna and CJ, hope the honeymoon was perfect and restful.  You guys are so great together!  Thank you for allowing us to be part of your special day!!!  Enjoy

Mary Beth and Lance tied the knot!  I adore this couple, I adore these families, I adore these sisters, I adore this wedding!!!  It was a FREEZING cold day and the bridesmaids were such troopers hanging in there during all of the outdoor photos.  There was even a pretty bad snow storm warning that threatened travel for their friends and family, but these Georgia die hards couldn't be stopped.  It was an amazing ceremony, complete with a song that Mary Beth's dad wrote and performed during the ceremony.  It was such an amazing moment, not just for them, but for all of their guests as well.  Their reception was FUN from beginning to end.  Gotta love some Georgia fans! They kept the dance floor hot and there was no lack of good times.  The handmade touches that Mary Beth and Lance did for the decor made for such a sweet touch.  Please take some time to view these sweet lovebirds and don't forget to watch the slideshow at the end for more amazing photos. I loved getting to meet and know Stephanie and Michael!  We met over a year ago when they first started to plan their wedding and then they moved to Chicago, so it was wonderful to finally get to capture their beautiful day and to be reunited!  January can be such a crapshoot as far as weather, but we couldn't have DREAMED up a more beautiful day.  It was just a tad chilly, but the sun shone bright all day and I was thrilled to get to take so many outdoor portraits in JANUARY.  I really loved the light hues of the bridesmaids dresses Stephanie picked out and the gorgeous soft colors of the flowers.   These two decided to see each other before their ceremony and their first look was the sweetest.  It also allowed us time to get photos of the whole wedding party since it became dark shortly after their ceremony.  Take some time to enjoy this sweet day! {allison & rob} charlotte nc wedding. alexander homestead

 
 

We really loved getting to shoot out at Alexander Homestead.  Right in the heart of Charlotte, the property is this little oasis that creates a perfect wedding backdrop.  Allison and Rob were so sweet on their CHILLY January wedding day.  Surrounded by friends and family, I don't think they could have asked for a more perfect day to celebrate.  The sun was shining, and armed with pashminas to stay warm, we braved the outdoor ceremony- which turned out to be the perfect choice.  Blue skies and warm hearts, their day was just lovely!  I have so enjoyed getting to know these two over the past few months.  I know nothing but happiness awaits them as a couple.
