We’re back!

 (2 of 5)

Whew! 2 weeks and one cancelled flight later we are back in the land of cowboy boots and southern drawls. At the airport, when I saw camo in Charlotte, I was actually excited because it solidified that we were indeed back in the south! 40 hours trying to get home will do that to you!

I really have no words to explain how amazing our time was together on our trip. No phones, just each other and some amazing places. I will be sharing more in detail and showing lots of pictures here on the blog- but for now, here are just some snapshots of what is to come!

First there was Rome (so much to see, so little time)...
Then Venice (my personal favorite)...

On to the Cinque Terra (a sleepy little region)...

Florence (where The David lives)...

and finally Sienna (under the Tuscan sun)

Can't wait to share more after all I crawl out from under the laundry and the email.

Italy Bound!

Joe and I head out in the morning (weather permitting!) for our first real out of town adventure as man and wife! There are so many things I look forward to sharing about this trip with you all! However, as I was sitting here trying to figure out how to automate response my emails- I am pretty sure everyone in my email box got the automated message 5 (or possibly more, it's hard to tell) times. For anyone of you who got my messages 5+ times, I am SOO sorry! Just when I think I am I am getting the hang of this whole computer thing! I feel like such a dud!

If you need immediate assistance while I am away about wedding date availability- please shoot my lovely assistant LeAnn an email: leannll@gmail.com and she will get back with you!
Ciao!

true love- amanda & mark

StatesvillePhotographer1

I absolutely LOVE this couple. Seriously, we had so much fun on our shoot up in Statesville, NC. Amanda and Mark had amazing locations picked out for us to shoot at- and I was in love! Every location was perfect, and they even brought amazing props that meant something to them for us to use! Amazing. I love it when couples create their photos with me. It is such a fun process.

Basically, I had five million favorites- so here we go! Warning: Every smile in these photos is real:)

This photo below is one of my most favorite engagement pics ever.

We made it…

We officially survived our first bridal show! After weeks of planning, we conquered our first show. Joe and I always said we would try anything once, so this was our go at our first show. Who knows if we will do it next year, but it was a great experience and we had an overwhelming response to our work and our fabulous booth (if I do say so myself). I couldn't have done any of it with out Joe and his amazing handy-ness. He truly made my vision come to life and put up with my persistent perfectionism.

We really enjoyed the experience! It was great to meet other vendors in the wedding industry and to get a chance to talk with so many wonderful brides. I can't wait for some of the weddings that will eventually be up on the blog!
We would, however, now like to thank our un-official sponsors for their contributions and work:
