I loved getting to work with Mandy and Pierre! This was one of the last sessions I did just before the weather turned to spring/summer. Of course little pooches are always welcome, and we had so much fun with this little guy! I can't wait to celebrate with these two this year at The Duke Mansion(ya'll know I am a total sucker for this venue!). Happy Thursday!
Maria and Sam! The day finally came! I was so thrilled to be a part of this sweet friends big day. The love that she and Sam share is so honest and endearing and their friends and family were overjoyed to celebrate with them! I can't believe that all of the years we have shot in Charlotte that we have never shot a wedding at the Little Church on the Lane. This is the most DARLING little church that is open to weddings from non-members, a really hard thing to find in Charlotte! We loved it!! The staff were super sweet- what a fun treat to shoot there! The Charlotte Country Club was where the getting ready and reception happened, and it goes without saying that it was the perfect backdrop. On a day that was nearly guaranteed to POUR all day, we didn't feel a drop and it felt like the sweetest blessing from above. You two, thank you so much for trusting us with your day. I hope these photos will bring a swell of beautiful memories for years to come!
Love my sweet cousin Hannah and her new hubby Landon! While he has been around for a few years now, we are all so happy to officially welcome him to the family! We had a perfectly mild and sunny February day and there was love all around! It was fun to get to celebrate them and capture these memories! Happy Wednesday everyone!
As I sit here this week with all of this beautiful weather, I can't believe that winter is essentially over! I'm excited for spring weddings and portraits, but winter is my time to recoup, spend more time with the kids and lay low for a bit, so spring coming means we have to get back into our more chaotic routine! Wedding seasons is not for the faint of heart! I had lots of goals for winter, including blogging all of my back logged weddings, so I better hop to! Many more things on the list to accomplish!
We loved getting to work with Lindsey and Garren! In the rainiest fall wedding season we've ever had, hurricane Joaquin hit on their wedding day. What could have been disastrous turned out alright when the downpour and wind parted for 15 minutes after their ceremony and we were able to get some natural light portraits in addition to our indoor shots! These two rolled with it and had so much love pouring onto them from their family and friends! Check out some of my favorites and their fusion video at the end! Happy Wednesday!

Winter Bridals can be stressful when weather is a total hit or miss. Thankfully there is always Duke Mansion to the rescue! Loved shooting Hannah at the Duke Mansion, it is the perfect bridal location, whether rain or shine! Can't wait to share more from her and Landon's wedding! Happy Weekend everyone!
