These two are such naturals in front of the camera! I am already so excited for their wedding...their chemistry is very electric and it made my job more than easy! I honestly just let them do their thing- sessions like this are so fun for me, I can focus more on catching awesome lighting and moments when my couples are just being themselves and interacting with each other. I know not everyone is a total natural in front of the camera, and I pride myself on getting those couples that feel like they don't know what to do when they see me coming amazing photographs that seem effortless with my relaxed posing and guidance, but I am not gonna lie that is really fun when couples are just themselves, whether I have the camera pointed their way or not! I have said this before, but it's worth repeating....families who trust us with more than one of their children's weddings is the biggest compliment we can get in this business. We feel at home with our special "families" and showing up on their wedding day feels like a family reunion! We just adore the Brown Family! They have trusted us with not 1, not 2, but now 3! of their daughters weddings! We can't say enough how much this means to us! Here are some of my favorites from Katie and Haughton's engagement session shot in Gainsville, GA. I can't wait to celebrate big with them this December...and it's really just a shame how the gene pool in this family is so terrible;) Enjoy some of these favorites!

One really fun part of my job is getting to celebrate with my family members that are getting married/going through milestones in their lives. I love getting to capture beautiful images of them, commemorating a big event in our family that we will talk about for years to come! Hannah and Landon are getting married this coming winter, and we welcome Landon to the family:) People have always said Hannah, my sister and I look alike…I agree our family does have a pretty thick gene pool….and it's definitely compliment, so I'll take it! And Landon, he can put up with our rambunctious bunch, then he is a keeper:)…AND Hannah's three brothers approve! That itself is no small miracle! Here are some of my favorites from our session, we even shot around the site of their future home. Love these memories that will eventually hang the walls there and I am thankful to be a part of their big day. Happy Tuesday!

Anytime we get a chance to shoot at the Biltmore we are happy as little clams! I can't wait to shoot Melissa and Brett's wedding next year! We had the most perfect day to play at the Biltmore for their engagement session...and those sunflowers! I have never shot there before when they are in bloom and I am officially hooked! Happy Tuesday! (and Happy "My kids started back to Preschool today" day!)

I have been so excited to share Candice and Corey's engagement session! I am slowly but surely working my way out of my backlog of blog posts. Love these two- Candice has an infectious attitude and sweetness and Corey is someone who has always been fun and easy to hang with- I have known him since he was in high school and attended YL(yes, I know I am giving away my age here- we won't talk about how long ago that was!). We had a beautiful day for our session and they even brought along their little pups. I can't wait for their wedding next year where I am sure it will be filled with so many fun friends from Joe and I's past! Look forward to the party already!
