I don't think there has been a time in 8 years this poor blog has been so neglected! I do feel like my "excuses" are pretty good, but I still hate not getting all the pretty up in a timely manor!:) A little life update, we listed and sold our house, bought a new house that needs a full reno(happening now!) and are living in my grandparents basement while said reno happens. Yup, that about sums it up! We are debating starting a new instagram account for the new projects- would anyone in the universe want to follow and see that?! The thought of keeping up with another account, I'm not going to lie, just makes me tired...but there are so many fun projects we are working on, that it would be fun to share! Maybe I'll get that going in the next week or so- we have been documenting our 1966 nearly full "gut" since it started about 2 weeks ago. Would you want to see?!

Now, lets get this blog party started! Carly and Mark are just the cutest! They both work in television news and I can't wait to shoot their December wedding! Carly is a vision in pink- those bold colors really pay off in photographs! Enjoy their bright and love-filled session!

I literally cannot wait for this beautiful friends wedding next month! It is just SO STINKING AMAZING to see my friend so happy! I can't wait to get to know Kenton more and join in the fun at their wedding- so soon! Here are just a few favorites from our engagement session. I loved getting to work with Mandy and Pierre! This was one of the last sessions I did just before the weather turned to spring/summer. Of course little pooches are always welcome, and we had so much fun with this little guy! I can't wait to celebrate with these two this year at The Duke Mansion(ya'll know I am a total sucker for this venue!). Happy Thursday!

So many beautiful engagement sessions this fall! And after this past weekends, "double header" we are officially done with our wedding season save for one December wedding still to go! In a way it feels like a long year, but in another way, we are finished up earlier than we ever have before, thanks mostly to a lot of planning that I did this time last year as to not overbook myself after the "meltdown of fall 2014". I only had to shoot 16 weddings in one fall once to know that that schedule absolutely did not work for our family. It feels to good to have mostly(still a few fun sessions + Santa to shoot) office work before me as we head into November.

So much fun blogging to go! I loved my time spent with Kelly and Eric. They have THE MOST beautiful dog….although he is a little crotchety:)... He makes up for his with his crazy amazing eyes! I can't wait to shoot Kelly and Eric's wedding next year at Childress Vineyards- one of our most favorite venues in the area. Enjoy some favs!
