EEEEeeeeee! Bridal season is back! Oh how I miss these times with lovely ladies in lovely dresses in lovely locations. We shot Tonya's bridal photos back in the fall since we knew things would be good and dead right before her February wedding. Boy am I glad we did! It was a day with amazing light and gorgeous fall colors...not to mention my favorite time of year to shoot. Not to hot, not too cold, soft glowy light...just beautiful. Enjoy just a few of my favorites from our relaxed bridal session.
After months and MONTHS of working on my new site, it is finally here!!!!! Blogger had been awfully good to me, but I am so happy to have a shiny new site(and Logo!) that is a little more interactive and user friendly. Now you can search my posts, look at posts by category, and contact me- all without leaving the blog! Not only that, but commenting is now MUCH easier. Signing in to google, leaving the page...all that was quite the deterrent(even for me!) on blogspot. So comment away, folks! I would love to hear from you! It let's me know that this thing is on:)
Luckily, I was able to import some of the old posts even though they don't quite fit in the new blog correctly, but it's nice to at least have some content available. There are a few minor tweaks that I still want to make and galleries that I want to add, but so happy to have this project completed before baby boy gets here! Take some some time to browse around, update the bookmarks on your computer, and subscribe to the rss feed.
On to McKenzie! Love this Lindsey Lee bride. Really, I love her. Her wedding was amazing, her now hubby is perfect for her (Joe and I both have crushes on him) and their day was just lovely. I can't wait to share it, but for now here are some of her relaxed bridal portraits! Happy Columbus Day!
Oh my goodness! How Joe and I LOVED shooting Matt and Natasha's wedding in Portsmouth, VA. One thing I love about weddings that are destination for us is that it really gets the creative juices flowing. Being somewhere new, seeing new sights, it gets me all jazzed up for photo moments! The camera absolutely. loves. Natasha. It's one of those weird photo things that you can't describe, but sometimes coloring, posing, the light, the dress, the day, it all aligns and every photo is wonderful. That was how I would describe our time together- wonderful! Can't wait to tell you more about her wedding and the fun that is her family, but for now, enjoy just SOME of my favorites from her bridal session!
I absolutely LOVED this bridal session! Basically, if your family to be has an awesome farm, I am happy to come on out and take pictures of you in all your bridal goodness on the property:) Amanda's now hubby and his family are farmers by trade and their property in rowan county is absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous fields, cool old farm "stuff", amazing light. I had WAY too many favorites, but here are just a few that spoke to me. Amanda is such a natural beauty and I can't wait to share their wedding day images with you. Enjoy!
Really great photos. I especially enjoyed the shots with the bride against the darker backdrop; she really shined!
I really liked the black and white photographs. I really enjoyed the off-center compositions.
Beautiful pictures!
Loved Them!!
