Oh goodness, where to start! Everyone was a little nervous that there wasn't a great backup rain plan...but it didn't matter, the light couldn't have been more beautiful on Steph and Karey's wedding day. March can be tricky: it could rain, it could be freezing, it could be hot. Well for these two, it was just perfect. Simply perfect. I always love shooting out at Beaver Dam, and their wedding day was no exception. Wonderful bridal parties, fun friends, a great party- a photographer's dream. And let me re-iterate GREAT PARTY. Fun is number one with this couple! Everything was picture perfect-not only was this Steph's first year of teaching(enough work to make you go crazy), but she managed to hand-make nearly ALL of the decorations. Love this crafty bride! good grief – Steph is so cute! These pictures are adorable :) My heart is so happy for her and Karey!

Although Lindsey Lee Photography is supposed to bleed Duke blue(the other half of LLP, that is:) Me, I took dance...that should explain it all), we had an AMAZING AMAZING time in Chapel Hill celebrating Diana and Brian's wedding on the UNC Campus. Her wedding party got ready at the Carolina Inn, they were married at the University UMC on campus, and celebrated the night away at the Carolina Club. The light on the day of their wedding was absolutely fabulous...some of the best wedding weather that we have ever had. I highly recommend March for weddings! Diana and Brian are currently living in Texas, so I had not had the chance to meet them before the wedding, which is pretty rare. I always go into these weddings a tad anxious, but this time I felt like I already knew her whole family through our months of emailing. There were many moments I teared up during their day...they wrote their own vows and read them to each other during their ceremony, and Diana made an incredible, heartfelt speech to her dad at the reception...tear-jerkers all the way! It was just too sweet. Both Brian and Diana have some of the sweetest friends and family around....not to mention extremely attractive. Like, really. How is everyone they know so cute!? You two, Joe and I loved every minute of your wedding. Clients like you make our job easy. I hope married life is all you dreamed it would be!

I have had such an blast getting to know Tonya and Ian over the past year or so. These two have been dating just short of forever:), so not a single guest could have been happier when their big day finally arrived. The Millennium Center is an amazing location, and even more amazing in the wintertime because there is an abundance of natural light filtering through the huge windows that surround the space. Tonya and Ian decided to do a first look, which gave us plenty of time to utilize all of the areas the Millennium Center has to offer for photos. I couldn't have been happier with this being my first wedding back to work! Tonya and Ian both have amazing families and it felt really great to be back to doing what I love! Have a look at just some of my favoites, and don't forget to watch the slideshow at the end.

Again, Barbara knocked the florals out of the park...so soft and sweet.

Some of you may have heard me talk about buying chairs while at a wedding(of course we did)....well we are now the proud owners of 17 of these blue beauties. Please don't call hoarders on me. Going to redo a bunch of them for the new house:) Thankfully Barbara helped us out by bringing them back to town on her floral truck! Yes, we roll like that.
