My sweet, sweet Kait. In college I was a Young Life leader at a local high school where I met a fun group of sophomore girls sitting in the lunch room. Although they probably thought I was weird(I mean, I was in college hanging out at a high school lunch room) they agreed to be my friends and we had so many fun times together going to football games, having sleepovers, watching lots and lots of volleyball and soccer, and of course that time I chaperoned their prom- in an 80's prom dress. They still loved me...and then, in the blink of an eye, they all grew up. I saw them off to college, listened when they had breakups, wrote recommendations for their "real" job apps, celebrated all the wins in their lives and listened through all the losses. This group of girls means the world to me and I have had the AMAZING privilege of seeing many of them meet the man of their dreams, fall in love, and finally....get married.
Kait and Blake are special. I knew Kait would find someone amazing, and she did. I knew her future husband would be perfect for her, and he is. I knew she would find happiness following God's plan for her life, and she has. These two are quite the power couple, you can't help be want to be around them. Their FUN is contagious and LAUGHTER infectious. Blake, I couldn't have dreamed up someone better for my friend. You both make me very proud and I can't see what the future holds! Thank you for trusting me with your day, it's not something I will ever take for granted.
