Griffin, also known as Sharpe's best friend, is 6 months! Oh how I love his sweet face. And yes, he really is this smiley ALL the time...and yes, his eyes are really THAT blue. Amazing. I can't wait for Griffin and Sharpe to have thier play dates. So fun! I'm loving his sweet face in all of these...
We had an amazing workshop this past weekend! Thanks to everyone who came out and learned more about how to take fabulous photos! Boy was it cold when we were outside practicing with our model, but it was definitely worth it. I was so impressed by this group! If you want to be added to the mailing list to know about future workshops, shoot me an email through my contact section and just put workshop as the subject. I am already trying to find a date to host another. We really love teaching this stuff!
Here is just a quick preview of some things hitting the blog this week...not to mention that I am still blogging mini-sessions. Oh, and a pic of Sharpe. This was taken when he was a month old...I am already about to take the two month photo with Darby(a little late on the uptake I know)! Her hair is starting to turn a corner. Thank goodness! I cannot wait to shoot this couples wedding! Meagan is the sister of a past groom, and I always love shooting another wedding in the same family. Joe and I already feel like we know everyone and it is so much fun! It is also an honor to be asked...I love my wedding couples!
These two made a special trip to Charlotte for their engagement session only to find rain. and more rain. After much debate we just decided to go for it. It was pouring even on the way to the session location, but it did clear up just long enough for us to shoot these photos. Meagan and Eric- thanks for being such flexible folks! I am so glad we go to take these photos. Love to you both!!! and I can't wait for July 7th! Goldsboro will never be the same:)

This is just one of the four sessions I shot last week. Talk about here we go post baby! I was so excited to take Julie and Noah's sweet little babe's photos. I had two thoughts when I walked through their door...#1: Julie looks better two weeks after having a baby than I did before I got pregnant...and #2: my baby could eat their baby because he is so tiny and Sharpe is so huge. Seriously, Elijah is the cutest, most teensiest, little peanut! He was the sweetest guy our whole session....which could also be called "let me torture your newborn for two hours". He put up with all of our fussing over him and moving him all around. He never even cried! Sunday, their goldendoodle, even joined in the family fun. And you all know how much I love me a goldendoodle!

I am SOOOO excited to finally have my magazine online for all to see. I worked very hard on getting this published before the baby came and barely had enough time to get it delivered in print to all of my vendors and favorite wedding professionals before Sharpe made his arrival. I am so incredibly proud of how it turned out. Joe is incredibly proud that it is finally done and that he can stop having to proof read it. One HUGE shout out goes to Chelsea, an amazing friend who took the time to be a hardcore editor and help me get it all wrapped up, typo free (we hope!).
