Before I left for Thailand I shot two December weddings. Both of them FREEZING cold...and both with rain/sleet/snow. Stacy was a total trooper- and it made me SO thankful that we had such a beautiful bridal portrait day so that she totally go to rock her dress in some natural light. The boys braved the cold a littler better with all of their layers, but no sooner did they arrive to begin did the bottom drop out. These two didn't skip a beat and had a fabulous day. S and B- hope married life is treating your amazingly! Have a great weekend!
I am so very excited about The Workshop that Joe and I will be hosting on February 12th in downtown Concord. There are 2 spots left, so if you got that fancy new camera for Christmas and would like to know how to work it, then this is the place for you!
Here is what you need to know:
*The class will be from 9am-1pm with lunch provided
*This is a class for beginner DSLR users. What if you don't have a digital SLR? Borrow one and come join the fun! The class is for people who have never "gotten off green" when using their camera to those who have read the manual but still don't completely understand what the heck an f/stop is. It is not a class to become a professional photographer, but for those of you that just want to take better pictures with that fancy camera you have and actually understand what you are doing.
*There will be lots of one on one time and plenty of time for questions- then we will all practice what we have learned with real LIVE models.
*Tuition is $150 and there are 2 spots left. Email me at lindseyleelancaster@gmail.com to hold your spot. I will email you back reserving your spot and will then confirm with you when the tuition is received. Due to the size and nature of the class, the tution is non-refundable.
You can see more about the last workshop HERE. And, because no post is the same without a photo, here is one from our trip to Thailand. We went to the floating market outside Bangkok, where Joe bought this mystery item to eat from a VERY old woman who made it in her boat with a tank of propane and a wok. Yes, he was a lot braver than I was. Yes, I lost three pounds. I can't wait to show more pictures from this outing.
