true love- hef & ct

engagement1

Hef (ok so her name is really Heather, but nobody calls her that) and CT are such a fun and awesome couple! Last week I met them in Shelby for their engagement shoot. Hef works for young life there and CT just moved to town so they could be together. (collective awwwww) But here is the funny thing: both of their last names are Turner. So, Hef won't even have to change her name! Ha! I find this incredibly intriguing. It was so fun to be in Shelby with them and Hef had some great locations picked out- and we even found a couple more along the way. They are going to have their wedding in Shelby next spring and I can't wait! I am crazy in love with these photos....

these are amazing and i love them! (and hef, for that matter!) great job!

Meet Ryon. He is graduating from JM Robinson this spring and we had a late in the year senior session. Lucky for him (or unlucky, however you look at it:)) It was a 80 degree day....IN NOVEMBER! Seriously!? But wow, we couldn't have asked for a nicer day for our shoot. We started out at the football field to get some shots of him in his element. He has spent the past four years with his team here and I know he is going to miss it! What was hilarious, though, was that right when we started walking down to the field, JOURNEY started blaring from the loud speakers. It was like we were in this amazing fashion shoot or something where we had our own music to rock to! Here are some of my favorites from the day.

I love this family! I have known Bert and Holly for many years through Young Life and they are fantastic! Holly actually mentored me my junior and senior years in college. After that, I moved to Salisbury and these two beautiful people started their family- enter Jack and Welles. They are too cute for words! I loved going through all of these pictures of this sweet family. Having only a sister, it is really fun for me to see these two boys in action. I've held out a lot of shots as to not spoil the potential Christmas card photo, but enjoy all of these favorites! AND, if you are sitting there thinking: Dang, I wish my family would have gotten together for a shoot for our Christmas card! We can still make it happen, but get in touch ASAP!

    PRECIOUS CHILDREN, HANDSOME DAD
    AND BEAUTIFUL MOTHER

I’m in love

That's right, I am in love with this sweet family! This beautiful mama Beth, and her two girls Caroline and Sarah Kate are now some of my most favorite people. We had simply the best time on their shoot. Not only do they love each so well- they are all smiles and giggles- my favorite type of client! Beth teaches kindergarten, and if I could go back (wouldn't that be great to go back to the times of naps, snacks, play dough, and book reading all day) then I would choose Beth as my teacher. I imagine she is just the best! I also love shooting sisters....each time I have sisters I just get this super weird deja vu of my sister and I from our childhood. Luckily, these three were game for my shenanigans and I would say it paid off! We had some of the last remaining colorful leaves in Cabarrus County and some of the best light. ever. Also take note of the cute outfit's the girls had on. I just love the sweater dress with black boots and the polka dots and cons. Perfection.

  1. Janie:

I'm in love with the first leaf-throwing shot, the second "ring-around-the-rosie" and the one of the girl in the grey dress with the black boots and her hand on her hip. AWESOMENESS Lindsey! Great shots.

  2. kristin:

I <3 this shoot! Love the location, the light, and the super fun fall feel! Awesome work!

  3. Amy:

I have to say that these photos are gorgeous just like the girls! You did a great job and doesn't hurt to have such wonderful people to work with. Beth and I are like sisters and she has such beautiful girls. You did a great job with them!
