Loving all of the amazing engagement sessions I have gotten to shoot lately! Tabby and Josh are so fun…..and they are "parents" to their sweet little wienie dog:) who, of course, had to join us on our shoot. I can't wait to celebrate them this summer at their wedding at one of our favorite venues, The Arbors. Happy Monday, everyone!
Loved spending an afternoon with Kristin and Evan at their engagement session!! I know so many of us are ready for the "real warm weather" to come this way, but I tell you what- there is something so perfect about these mild days with the perfect light and everything being just the right shade of new green and being able to walk around and just enjoy spring. I can't wait to shoot their wedding at The Farm at Brusharbor this fall- it is such a great venue! Here are some of my favorites. Enjoy!
Ya'll, this rain. It's just yuck! I worked on this session today and was reminded of the sweet sunshine we had on the day of Lauren and Chris's engagement shoot. I adore these two. At our consult, we realized we literally live just blocks apart...It is always such a small world here in Cabarrus County! I have too many favs from our time together at a friends private property. I love some of my ole "trusty" shooting spots, but whenever a client has access to a gem of a property nearby, I am in heaven! It forces me to think differently and take in the new surroundings. Enjoy all of the love and the sunshine felt in these photos!

Megan and David are just the best! I was so excited to be able to work out our schedules so that I could shoot their wedding! Childress Vineyards is one of our absolute favorite venues and again it did not disappoint! Little did these two know that in mid November it would be literally FREEZING, but WOW- we had THE MOST AMAZING LIGHT we shot in all year. And really, the terribly cold temps didn't start until after dusk, so thankfully they did a first look and we had the majority of our photos taken before the ceremony in not too bad of temps. And Megan's dress, I die. It was one of my top 5 dresses of the whole year! Truly unique and had the most perfect fit! While I dream of spring sticking around for good, I will miss this golden light that only the fall can produce...Check out this beautiful fall wedding and be sure to watch their photo fusion video at the end as well. I can't wait to shoot Grace and Jeremy's wedding this summer!!!! Grace is a kindred spirit to myself and we have worked together with Young Life for a few years now and she is so fabulous! I am so exited for her and Jeremy to get married this summer and I know God has some really big things planned for these two! In the midst of this horrible weather we have now been having for oh, 2 months now, there was a crazy 70 degree day. It made me so excited for spring and excited to get out there and shoot again without being freezing! Enjoy some of my favorites from their engagement session- we had a blast!
