We absolutely loved working with Laura and Michael! They had such a beautiful day- we have been so lucky this spring! Both of their families are amazing and we were so thankful they trusted us with such an important day in their lives! I adored Laura's dress, and I've said it before, but a groom and his men can NEVER go wrong with a classic tux! It was the perfect match for their traditional church ceremony and Myers Park Country Club Reception. We shot Fusion for their wedding and I can't wait to show the final product when it's finished!  Enjoy these bright and sunny images!

We are in full wedding season swing at LLP!  That pretty much means my days are filled with lots of computer work and lots of bridal portraits.  I love seeing the vision my brides have worked for for so long come to fruition!

I am super excited to share Nicole and Russel's wedding that was held at Adaumont Farms! I've said it a hundred times, but we love this venue!  Nicole and Russel were married in April, which can be a toss up on weather.  Don't let these bright and sunny photos fool you.....IT WAS FREEZING! But I am so thankful Nicole decided to stick out her original plan instead of moving to a rain plan(which some encouraged her to do because of temperatures).  I knew years from now her pictures would look amazing and everyone would forget it being a tiny bit(ok, a lot a bit) cold!:)  I am thankful to her family and bridal party(read: bridesmaids) for sticking out the weather with no coats and not complaining a bit! We tried to make quick work of it, but a good attitude from a bridal party is half the battle! Enjoy some of my favorites from her big day! Wishing these two nothing but happiness!

Love my sweet cousin Hannah and her new hubby Landon!  While he has been around for a few years now, we are all so happy to officially welcome him to the family! We had a perfectly mild and sunny February day and there was love all around! It was fun to get to celebrate them and capture these memories! Happy Wednesday everyone!

As I sit here this week with all of this beautiful weather, I can't believe that winter is essentially over! I'm excited for spring weddings and portraits, but winter is my time to recoup, spend more time with the kids and lay low for a bit, so spring coming means we have to get back into our more chaotic routine!  Wedding seasons is not for the faint of heart!  I had lots of goals for winter, including blogging all of my back logged weddings, so I better hop to! Many more things on the list to accomplish!

We loved getting to work with Lindsey and Garren!  In the rainiest fall wedding season we've ever had, hurricane Joaquin hit on their wedding day.  What could have been disastrous turned out alright when the downpour and wind parted for 15 minutes after their ceremony and we were able to get some natural light portraits in addition to our indoor shots!  These two rolled with it and had so much love pouring onto them from their family and friends!  Check out some of my favorites and their fusion video at the end! Happy Wednesday!

The back of Lindsey's dress! Love!
