The fog is finally lifting on our remodel!  I can sense that my brain is clearer from all the visual clutter that we have been living in these past 8+ months!  Between packing up the old house, living in my grandmaw's basement, living with no kitchen, putting the house back together, getting pregnant(hello first trimester)…so much blogging was left undone!  I have been so loyal to this blog these past 8 years, that this has KILLED me!  But there were only so many hours in the day.  My superwoman cape just got up and left, so blog, I am so sorry, but I hope to do better:)

Thankful that Mollie and Brock trusted me with their wedding day!  I love shooting at First Pres in Concord- their November wedding had amazing weather and we even managed to have enough light after their ceremony for more photos than we were expecting.  Their reception was rocking all night and we loved celebrating with them!  Enjoy some of my favorites from their special day!

One day, my house is going to not be chaos, I won't be pregnant, and I promise my sweet, sweet blog will have lots of attention again!  The lack of posting is not for lack of amazing things to show, just a lack of physical hours in a day!  We are on the downhill of the major part of our renovation(feel free to follow along progress here: @downtownacres on instagram)- Ie: we got a kitchen! But there are lots of little details that have kept me busy on top of working on top of being preggo!  My focus has been on getting client work out the door, but man have I missed sharing so much of it!  I also need to do an update of my little men- they are getting so big!  Look for that soon!

I am so glad that I got Kristin and Matt's fusion done so I can share their amazing wedding!  As usual, The Farm at Brusharbor was the perfect backdrop and we loved every second of their beautiful day!  I have the best brides + their families! Thank you so much for trusting us with your forever memories!  Have a look at some favorites and their fusion at the end.  Happy Monday!

Candice and Corey had such a beautiful wedding at the Vista at Walnut Hill!  It was a beautiful Carolina day and I loved getting to be there to capture such beautiful memories for this amazing couple! I will never forget how blue the sky was against the venues old red barns.  I can't wait to see what the future holds for these two- love you both!

Love this sweet couple! Joe has known Lee's family long before there was a Lee!  Lee's parents were Joe's neighbors growing up and have remained lifelong friends.  We were thrilled to shoot Lee and Kelsey's wedding!  Kelsey was a quick fit into the family and these two have such a special love!  It would happen that their wedding was during the one weekend the whole entire south had a snow freak out!  I, however, think this made the day just that more magical.  It's pretty rare that in the south(and Georgia no less!) you get to have snow on the ground at your wedding...so special!  The Wheeler House is a beautiful venue with all the southern charm one can muster- it made for a beautiful backdrop.  Enjoy these photos of a beautiful couple that I know are going to do great things in their life and marriage!  Love you both! Be sure to watch their amazing fusion video at the end of this post!

Logan and Brian had THE MOST beautiful wedding at the Peninsula Club on Lake Norman!  Fall in the Carolina's just can't be beat!!!! Outdoor ceremonies make my heart sing...especially when all of the stars align and the color + weather + bride + dress + handsome groom + love are just shining through!  Enjoy some of these favorites from such a beautiful day!  (and lets all have a moment of silence for these red colored bridesmaids dresses. LOVE!)
