This weekend was one of our last weekends off before we finish up our wedding season.  We originally had a wedding scheduled, but the super fun couple decided to elope!!  It did made for a nice break here in the middle of the chaos so we spent a lot of time getting our house organized for baby: cleaning out closets, organizing, making a Goodwill drop off and in general carrying out "Operation: Make All This Junk Leave My House".   We finally got Sharpe his big boy beds out of storage, got them painted and put up in his room- even though he is still in a crib that will transition to a toddler bed for the moment(I'm not quite ready to give up "baby jail").  It was nice to put his nursery furniture into the baby's room and start to get our head around what's going on in there. I can't wait to share Sharpe's Big Boy room!  The nursery never quite made the transition into this house the way it did when we designed it for the old house, so for me making up the big boy room was more exciting in this house than just putting his nursery back up when we moved.  All this to say, I think I may be more tired from all that we had going on around here this weekend than if we had shot a wedding!

This has been one amazing senior season!  My clients are absolutely the best!  Love making these seniors look like a million bucks(although that is probably the easiest job on the planet with how stinking cute they are).  Meet Kylee!  A total natural in front of the camera, I loved working with her! She wasn't sure about her "serious" face at the shoot, but turns out those were her most favorites and I have to agree!!!! What a beauty! Enjoy!

Such a crazy wedding season I am so behind on blogging bridals!  I have had some AMAZING bridal portrait sessions and I can't wait to share them!  First up- Micaela!  We shot these relaxed bridals at the vineyard her family recently started in Smithfield, VA.  We also did some day after photos here the day after the wedding, so I can't wait to share those as well!  I can't wait to see what big things come out of this new business and to see the property continue to emerge!  It is already so incredible beautiful!  Love getting to work with families that we have worked with in the past and feeling like family.  More of their wedding to the blog soon.  Happy Monday!

Here are the pics I snapped yesterday of our sweet Super Sharpe and Super Darby.  I know they are mine, but seriously, their cuteness is off the charts!!!!  Darby was the best sport as usual.  She is so good to let us do ridiculous things to her!  We didn't do "real" trick or treating, but visited the grandparents and hung out on our Halloween.  And funny that I thought making their costumes might save us some money, whelp, that wasn't the case either!  Hobby Lobby was happy to see me coming!  Nonetheless, I think they turned out adorable!  Love how much these two love each other!  We also taught Sharpe to say "Suuuuuper Sharpe!" and he was so cute running around saying it!  Even now as he looks at these pictures he says "Super Sharpe".  He kills me!  Hope everyone has a great weekend!
