I have been meaning to get some shots of the Carolina Bride cover we shot up on the blog for close to a month now!  We were so excited to shoot this amazing feature with one of LLP's very own brides as the model- and to be chosen as the cover image!!  Sweet Ashley was the perfect model for our BHDLN gowns.  Yup, that's right, this is the the gown line from Anthropologie.  The dresses literally fit her like a dream, zipped right on up directly off the hanger.   Joe and I had such an amazing time shoot this feature and LOVED the team of wedding professionals that made it all happen! Be sure to look them up! All fabulous vendors to work with.  Here are some shots of the feature as well as some more of the photo goodness we captured at our shoot.  If you want to see it in person be sure to pick up a copy at most local bookstores and Belk's and wedding vendors region wide!  Happy Monday!

Venue: The Ivy Place

shut. up. how did i not know about this? these are gorgeous, but it’s hard to lose with bhldn gowns. congratulations – so proud of you and joe!

We are nearing the end of July!  Holy Cow! Where has the summer gone?!  We are still plugging through our June weddings and I am so excited to share this one!  Erica and AJ were married at the beautiful Deer Creek Run right outside of Asheville, NC.  It was an absolutely beautiful North Carolina day and the property was the perfect backdrop for their wedding.  These two are so sweet!  Their family couldn't hold back the smiles all day!  Enjoy some of my favorites and don't forget to watch the slideshow at the end for more photos:)  Happy Wednesday!

Such a fun shoot!  Emily and Penn are having their ceremony on Emily's family farm and what better place to take the engagement photos.  It has been a beautiful day, then all of the sudden it was monsooning...the farm is in Mocksville, so we took our chances and went for it hoping the storm would pass.  Besides being INCREDIBLY humid, we made it work and their family property is absolutely amazing.  I'm talking picturesque!  On top of that, the world continues to get smaller and smaller.  Emily and I had previously met to talk about the wedding, but I had not met Penn yet.  Upon arriving, he said he knew Joe- well long story short, he and Joe were childhood best buds in middle and high school!  I called Joe and said "You'll never guess who's wedding we are shooting!".  It was such a fun bonus on top of already loving Emily so much:)  Here are just a few of my favorites from our session together...can't wait until September!
